Operating under the risk

“Humanitarian organizations have highlighted that access to Gaza remains severely restricted, with ongoing impediments and denial of access, particularly by Israeli authorities. Conditions have worsened since May, with the humanitarian response at risk of collapse and aid workers facing increased threats (NGO Report, 2024).”

Despite this, our team is always under attack, they continue to work tirelessly in spite of these enormous obstacles. While delivering bread or instructing kids in improvised tents, four of our team members have sadly died and others have been hurt. Their courage and selflessness exemplify our goal to help people in need, even in the most dire situations.

Activities and Impact

The “Emergency Aid for IDP Women and Children in the Gaza Strip” project, run by Kids Paradise Organization through Malak Fund and Gaza Giving campaigns, aimed to address the urgent needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Gaza.

Total Impact

The project supported 14,400 families and 174,580 individuals through food aid, water and sanitation services, psychological support, and cash assistance, providing critical relief during displacement.

Below is an overview of the key activities and their impact:

Feeding and Food Security Project

Three million meals for Gaza

To date, we have distributed 2,964,833 hot and ready-to-eat meals to needy families in the Gaza Strip, north and south. Our goal through this campaign, which we launched in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, was to reach one million meals, and we did so, and now we aspire to reach three million meals as well.
We also distributed 80,215 food parcels , each containing basic items such as rice, sugar, flour, canned meat, canned sardines, tahini, pasta, etc. The number of beneficiaries of these parcels in the north and south of the Gaza Strip reached 481,290 people.
Join us in making a difference. Together, we can feed more people in Gaza. Your support saves lives!

Watering

Even before October 2023, 97% of Gaza’s water was unfit for drinking. Today, a year later, more than half of Gaza’s water supply—already suffering from severe shortages—has been damaged or destroyed. With four of six sewage treatment plants out of service, sewage has started to leak into the streets, threatening a potential outbreak of disease. Continued bombing and attacks have destroyed desalination plants and water wells that families rely on to survive. Currently, during the war, about 70% of Gaza’s population is forced to drink polluted and salty water. While an adult needs 15 liters of water per day, the UN estimates that Gazans only get 3 liters to meet all their needs.

Saqya Al Khair: Water Access Initiatives

This is Your Impact

Before the Rafah takeover, Human Appeal’s desalination plant was a lifeline, providing 52,000 liters of clean water to Palestinians every hour – accessible directly or via water trucks. Today, we remain committed to our promise. We work tirelessly to deliver clean water tanks, ensuring that families have the clean water they need, no matter where they are.
