  • Hostilities persist across Syria following the Assad regime’s fall on December 8, displacing approximately 100,000 people to northeast Syria.
  • Displacement is fluid, with concerns about explosive ordnance risks; 52 minefields were identified in the past ten days.
  • Hospitals are overwhelmed with trauma cases, and civilians, particularly children, are experiencing significant psychological distress.
  • Food shortages are reported in major cities, with bread prices in Idleb and Aleppo rising by 900% between November 27 and December 9.

Food Security: Distribution of emergency food baskets. WASH Services: Restoring access to clean water, latrines, and hygiene kits to prevent outbreaks like cholera.
Mental Health and Protection
Psychosocial support for trauma-affected populations. Safe spaces for women and children to prevent exploitation.
Long-Term Resilience
Support for restarting livelihoods and rebuilding community structures. Reopening schools to minimize the impact of the conflict on children’s education.
