| About the Role: Design Fellow (Media Specialist) – Volunteer As a Design Fellow (Media Specialist) volunteer at Kids Paradise (KP), you play a crucial role in advancing our mission to empower Syrian communities, for Community hub particularly children whose lives have been profoundly impacted by conflict. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for design and media to contribute their skills and creativity toward building a brighter future for those in need. | Partnerships: Research and identify potential partnerships to amplify the impact of KP’s initiatives. Collaborate with external partners to develop unique studios, workshops, or seminars aimed at fostering creativity and skill development. Program Development: Lead clubs for students within the community, creating an environment that encourages exploration of interests beyond the studio setting. Contribute to the development of innovative programs designed to transform the lives and aspirations of individuals affected by conflict. |
| Duration and Commitment: This is a volunteer position with a commitment to a 6-month duration. Volunteers who demonstrate exceptional dedication and impact may have the opportunity to apply for a longer-term position after the completion of the initial commitment. | Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate degree in a design or visual media field such as Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Augmented/Virtual Reality Design, 3D Design, Worldbuilding, Photography, Illustration, Filmmaking, or Video Editing. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Unity (or equivalent 3D modeling software), and Figma. Strong graphic, writing, and communication skills. |
