At KP, we want to help you make the most of your giving. Whether it’s through our Women & Children’s Fund or another one of our main causes, one of our Relationship Managers will help you find the project(s) that best matches your philanthropic aspirations (from 3500 $). We can also advise you on the tax-deductibility of your donation.
In emergencies, we focus on four priorities
Women and children are affected differently by emergencies in ways that threaten their survival and dignity.
We provide intensive malnutrition treatment that nourishes and saves the lives of young children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, as well as teach communities healthier infant feeding practices to prevent malnutrition in the future.
Medair also strengthens local health clinics through training health clinic staff and providing them with essential medicines and supplies. We also support women in having safe childbirth and provide psychosocial support for survivors of sexual and gender based-violence.
With resources limited, improving the way we work saves time and money, meaning more impact and less waste.
By using innovative technologies, KP is able to respond to crises more quickly, effectively, and with greater accountability than ever before. That means we can reach people faster and serve them better.
More disasters happen around the world and more people are affected by them than ever before—due to population growth, climate change, urbanisation, and environmental degradation.
In emergencies, we are ready to deploy within 24 hours to bring communities what is needed most—safe drinking water and sanitation, urgent health services, and protective shelters—while strengthening vulnerable communities and enabling them to be more resilient to future threats. These actions literally save lives.
Millions of people have lost their homes and livelihoods as the world struggles to cope with a massive displacement crisis.
We help people who flee their homes get access to all the things they need most—shelter and emergency household supplies, safe drinking water and sanitation, and medical care. Our main priorities are survival and safety.
With mental health being a large concern among refugees and displaced people, KP also provides psychosocial support to address mental health issues and trauma. We also provide affected families with cash assistance, which preserves dignity by giving people the choice of how best to meet their most pressing needs.
We start with wishes then sponsors
