The crisis in Syria has devastated cities and villages and forced some 12 million people to flee their homes. Half of the country’s health clinics and sanitation systems are not functioning. Nearly five million people need shelter; in some hard-hit areas, 30 percent of the people are dealing with a disability. Only 26 international NGOs have been approved and registered to provide aid in Syria.
You can help bring much-needed assistance to people affected by the crisis in Syria. In hard-to-reach areas, your support gets primary health clinics operating again and helps vulnerable families gain access to health care, nutrition, safe drinking water, and shelter services. Your help also provides psychosocial support, physiotherapy services, and specialised shelter solutions to the many people who are struggling to cope with the physical and mental traumas of this crisis.
